Implementation

Full implementation is provided for the complete WhiteBox solution, including QlikView if required.

  • Client hardware recommendation / sizing and project planning
  • Client data ETL including incorporating any client bespoke MIS data
  • Incorporating client data into Data Model
  • Initial data configuration
  • Full solution installation: database software, databases, WhiteBox software and QlikView software

Training & Coaching

As part of implementation, we can provide formal training and ‘at the desk’ coaching for all WhiteBox components, including QlikView and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • formal class-room training,
  • ‘at the desk’ coaching for individuals or small teams,
  • management awareness training on the capabilities of BI

As a QlikTech Partner, we also provide training and coaching for QlikView and all the supplied applications

As a Microsoft Partner, we also have particular expertise in leading products such as:

  • Microsoft SQL Server and all the associated software – we offer consultancy, development and training
  • Microsoft Office and Excel in particular – Excel is still the primary tool used by banks, but is rarely used to its full potential. We can offer consultancy and training to significantly improve its use, saving considerable time.

We have many years experience in in banking, banking systems and data, and business intelligence. We can provide all consultancy that may be required around WhiteBox for all your data and Business Intelligence needs, for example: business and data analysis, new connectors, new applications, project management etc.

With this experience, we can provide a full range of consultancy services, including all project management:

Short Consultancy

To start, we can undertake short projects, just a few days in the following areas:

  • Management Information and Business Intelligence strategy assessment – short interviews with key staff (e.g. COO, CFO, CRO, CIO) followed by a report proposing how MI could be improved and BI provided.
  • Health check – Reviews of how MI and BI is currently used, by individuals, departments or across the organisation. This would typically include more detailed interviews with selected key users and a report recommending improvements.
  • Proof of Concept – a mini-project to take selected data from your systems to produce a consolidated prototype cube and / or report. This will allow you to see your data and assess how easy it would be to meet your MI and BI needs

Consultancy Projects

For the next level, we can provide:

  • Detailed Functional Requirements of your specific business MI and BI problems. This could be anything from creating a few specialist reports to providing a complete BI solution.
  • Analysis and Design of these requirements and a proposal on how best to meet these needs. This would typically involve using our existing WhiteBox components and then adapting or creating new components to meet specific needs, using the bank’s preferred tools.
